This week I pushed through even though my knee was hurting. When I went to the chiropractor, he said that a muscle which ran from my hip passed my knee was really weak. My ankle, knee and femur head were out. He put them all back in and I am feeling much better. He thought it was amazing I was walking. Swimming is what has weakened the muscle. He said I had to swim anyway and that the muscle would get stronger. I just had to see him if it came out again. So far my knee has stayed in.
Here are my miles for the week:
2 - 1hour & 1/2 long "hot" yoga classes which equals 12 miles
2- 45 min sessions of lap swimming equals 6 miles
3- 1 hour & 1/2 of racquetball 6 miles
1 - 30 min stair stepping at the gym 2 miles
1 - 1 hour cycling class 4 miles
Grand total: 244 miles for the year

How are you doing?

ReplyDeleteThat is great that the chiropractor was able to put you back together. (smiles)I have never gone to one, but I'll bet there is plenty that could be adjusted.

So what reward are you giving yourself when you reach a mini goal? Do you reward yourself for mini goals? I do, they give me something to look forwarded to. A sort of pat on the back that I give myself. You are really doing a great job! I had a good week as well and my recap will run tomorrow, Monday so stop by and see what I did this week.
